An Update.

29 Apr 2014

Last weekend was a very lovely one, but a very busy one! Which meant that I didn't have a chance to write either of my weekend posts or take any photos for this week. Sad Aimee. :( So instead, I thought I'd write a little update as life has been changing quite a lot for me recently.

On the first of this month I begun a new job which has quite literally made the weeks fly by! I can't believe it'll be May this week! I'm loving the job though and everyone I work with is really lovely. I've definitely been a happy bunny this month! Starting this job has also meant that I've finally been able to seriously plan my move to live with Craig, Joe and Will. If it all works out I should be moving in the second weekend of May which is superrrrrrr exciting! Me and Craig spent Sunday rearranging our room with some new Ikea bits which was fun, its starting to look really pretty. This move has also given me an excuse to finally buy some Muji storage for my make-up! I'm beyond excited to have everything stored neatly in it!

Turning 23 this month has also been a slight turning point for me. I didn't really have a great time at 22 and I feel like it was almost a wasted year. But 23 has brought new hope and excitement back into my life and I'm really looking forward to the months and years ahead.

I've also realised that I'm a complete sap as half way through writing this I stopped to sob at One Born Every Minute. Oh dear.

10 Reasons: Why I Blog.

25 Apr 2014

- Because there is a certain satisfaction in knowing that this little space on the internet is all mine.
- Because it means I can bake and shop to my hearts content and pass it off as 'blog content'.
- Because reading lovely comments makes my day.
- Because its made me get my camera out so much more.
- Because its given me an excuse to buy flowers so my pictures have pretty backgrounds.
- Because the blogging community is so lovely.
- Because writing has become therapeutic for me.
- Because its made mindless scrolling and socialising on Twitter 'blog marketing'.
- Because its my creative outlet.
- Because I'm proud of my little blog.

Why do you blog?

FOTD to FOTN.

22 Apr 2014

Today I thought I'd share with you a FOTD to FOTN look that I've been loving lately. It once again features my favourite lip product of the moment and an old favourite in terms of eyeshadow!

Like nearly all FOTD or FOTN posts I've written I'm once again using my trusty Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in 52. I really do love this foundation, it suits my skin so well. So well in fact that I'm quite scared to try anything new! I also used the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer - another trusty companion to my foundation and the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent. These products create such a good base for me and one that lasts all day!

For eyes I used Frosted Ginger from my NARS eyeshadow duo in Isolde. I used to wear this duo literally allll the time, but to be honest I kinda forgot about it! I love how it looks in the inner corners of my eye though, so I'm definitely going to start digging it out more! I washed this across the lid, and then added definition in the outer corners and along the crease with the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Permanent Taupe. I then added my favourite eyeliner the Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner Pen to create a cat flick, and added the Maybelline Mega Plush Volum' Express Mascara to my lashes. Still my favourite mascara to date!

For my cheeks I used my Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Tipsy and the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle to highlight. I absolutely love this combination, it looks so pretty for spring! The Tarte blush is absolutely one of my favourites too, and really does stay on your cheeks all day!

Finally, to take this look into the night I added my Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in Striking. I won't go into my love for this again, but if you're thinking of trying it? DO!

I hope you liked this look! All reviews I've written on the products I've used are all linked if you want to know more about them. :)

One Week, 6 till 9.

20 Apr 2014

After reading Cider With Rosie's Hour by Hour post a few weeks back, I felt inspired to create my own post showing 'normal' daily life through pictures. I decided instead to do it across a week and originally I planned to take a photo at 7.30pm every day. As you can see that didn't work from the off! Oops! Instead it turned into a picture between 6pm and 9pm. I'm still happy with it.

Saturday at 8.57 saw myself and my sister Katie tucking into the White Chocolate and Macadamia Nut Pie that we'd made earlier in the day. It was well worth the wait. Cut to Sunday at 6.15 and Craig and myself were being serenaded by the cast of Les Miserables in Covent Garden. I will never not enjoy One Day More.

Monday at 7.01 was a more sedate affair, and was spent reading the Evening Standard on the train home from work. I took a picture of this particular article about a London Marathon runner who proposed to his girlfriend just before he ran over the finishing line! So sweet, I had to send it to Katie. Tuesday was the only day I actually took the picture at bang on 7.30 - go me! This was me tucking into a yummy Hairy Dieters inspired dinner from mum!

Wednesday at 8.43 was a rather later dinner at the boys flat. The cheeky glass of wine was a pre-birthday celebration - totally acceptable right? My birthday was celebrated on Thursday with a slice of Ginger cake at 8.29 made by my lovely mother.

Friday at 7.53 shows yet more food consumed! Oops! Beer Can Chicken courtesy of one of my lovely best friends Joe! He made wedges and coleslaw with it too and it was sooo good. :) Saturday at 6.26 brings us to the present and me writing this exact post now! I've been watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on TV whilst I write, which has led to me getting distracted half the time! They all just look so young and cute!!

I quite enjoyed creating this post, so I hope you liked reading it! :)

Weekly Highlights. #19

19 Apr 2014

L-R: Shameless Selfie, My Roberts radio ♥, Les Mis at the Oliviers, Shameless Selfie #2, Carving the Butt Chicken, Birthday Cake No.1 from Mum, Birthday Pie lunch, Birthday Cake No.2 from Craig, Birthday Cards, Chocolate & Macadamia Pie, Tea Cosy made by Amy, Me and the best girl.
This week has been a super fun one ending in a lovely long bank holiday weekend! I turned 23, had two cakes made for me (and I have another on the way - I'm being spoilt!) and briefly appeared on tv! And when I say briefly I mean literal seconds - but it still counts as a claim to fame!! Right??

Narrowing it all down is pretty tricky, but here are my three highlights:

1. Last Sunday Craig and myself hot-footed it down to Covent Garden to watch the live streaming of the Olivier Awards. We did feel slightly like the poor commoners who weren't actually allowed in the party, but it was fun regardless! They had a stage set up and had some live performances before the actual awards ceremony took place which were really good. Les Miserables and Wicked being a particular highlight! Mylene Klass and Micheal Xavier were hosting the stage, and then did some live 'links' to the awards show about three people away from us in the crowd! Mylene really did look as pretty in real life, but she also looked a lot older! It was super exciting to be on TV though, even if it was for a matter of about 5 seconds!

2. On Thursday I turned 23 and although I spent the day at work I still had a really good day! Craig bought me a Roberts Radio in my favourite colour which I've been lusting over for FOREVER. It was literally so so lovely of him, so thank youuuu again if you're reading which I doubt you areee. haha My work colleagues bought some lovely treats for us all to share, and I got home to find mum had made me a super tasty ginger cake!

3. Finally, last night my lovely best friend Amy came with me to the boys flat and Joe made us Butt Chicken - which if you've never heard of before sounds BEYOND odd. But, its essentially a way of roasting a chicken on a beer can. Yep, still sounds odd right? Google it and you'll know what I mean! It was superr yum anyway and we then enjoyed copious amounts of alcohol and a Lemon Drizzle cake made by Craig which was soo good. I also need to mention that one of my presents from Amy was an amazing tea cosy that she MADE herself!!! Like actually knitted it! I will literally treasure it for ever. :) A lovely night all in all <3 p="">
I still have more birthday celebrations to go this weekend! But you'll have to wait for next weeks highlights to hear about them ;)

I hope you're all having a delightful long weekend!

A Ring Obsession.

18 Apr 2014

A bit of a different post from me today and not one I thought I'd ever write! I've never really been a 'ring' person, but recently I noticed myself always gravitating towards the rings in jewelry sections. I eventually bought two different sets from H&M and I literally can't stop wearing them! I'm a total ring convert.

Rose Gold is definitely my favourite shade when it comes to jewelry at the moment too and I think it looks even nicer on rings. The only issue I do have with rings is the sizing! I feel like I have in-betweeny fngers with the medium being a tadge on the tight side and the large leaving me fearing the ring will just slip off my finger! But perhaps that's just H&M sizes? Do different shops have different sizes?? I feel so out of the ring loop!

I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about midi rings though! I feel like they might just make my fingers look super fat, as if I couldn't get the ring on the whole way! But who knows, maybe I'll be converted to those too soon! What's your take? Are you a ring person?

I hope you all enjoy the bank holiday weekend! :)

FOTD | Springy Days.

15 Apr 2014

Ever taken a load of FOTD pictures only to realise when you upload the photos that actually you have a ridiculous fringe throughout it? Yeah? That. So annoying :( It was badly in need of a cut that day too, so it looks rather interesting. Silly fringe aside though, I am loving this look for the sunny weather we're having at the moment! Gotta love a reddy-orange lip ♥

My Revlon Matte Balm hasn't left my handbag since I got it, its such a staple shade for me at the moment. I definitely think I'm going to invest in a few other shades from the Matte Balm range as I love the formula soo much. So handy to apply on the go without a mirror too which is great!

So what's on my face?

Base
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in 52
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in True Ivory
Nip + Fab Eye Fix Brightening Concealer
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent

Cheeks
Nars Deep Throat Blush
Benefit High Beam

Eyes
MAC Mineralise Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle
Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner Pen in Carbon Black
Maybelline Mega Plush Volum' Express Mascara in Black

Lips
Maybelline Baby Lips in Intense Care
Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in Striking

I hope you liked this look! :) What's your current staple lip product?

Sunday Bake | White Chocolate and Macadamia Nut Pie

13 Apr 2014

Pie is back on the menu this Sunday Bake and I couldn't be happier. Yesterday, Katie and myself decided to have a day watching films and eating yummy food so obviously baking was going to be a part of that somehow! You may be confused when I say this pie is a White Chocolate and Macadamia Nut considering it looks veryy much like dark chocolate in the pictures above! It is actually the filling that's white chocolate and on top is a yummy dark chocolate ganache.

The recipe is from the original Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook and is actually really easy to make. Although, I would make sure you have a hand-whisk unless you want to kill your arms when whipping cream like we did! So on with the recipe!

Ingredients:

Crust:
- 110g Cold Unsalted Butter, Cubed
- 225g Plain Flour
- 80g Caster Sugar
- 1 Large Egg

Filling:
- 200g Cream Cheese
- 80g Caster Sugar
- 200g White Chocolate, Chopped
- 1/2tsp Grated Orange Zest (We didn't actually include this, so I'd say its definitely optional!)
- 80g Macadamia Nuts, Roasted and Chopped
- 80ml Double Cream

Topping:
- 125ml Double Cream
- 110g Dark Chocolate, Chopped
- Handful of Macadamia Nuts for decoration

Method:

1. Using your hands rub together the butter and flour until a fine crumb consistency is formed, then add the caster sugar and mix together. Add the egg and mix until a dough starts to form.

2. Turn the pastry onto a lightly floured surface and bring it together by hand until smooth and even. Form into a ball and flatten slightly, then wrap in cling film and chill in the fridge for 30-40 minutes.

3. Roll the chilled dough out onto a lightly floured surface to about 5mm thick then place into your pie dish, trimming off any excess. Then place back into the fridge to chill for about 20 minutes and pre-heat the oven to 170C, Gas Mark 3.

4. Bake the pastry blind, by lining the pie crust loosely with baking parchment and adding baking beans, for 10 minutes. Then remove the beans and continue to bake for a further 15-20 minutes until the crust is an even golden brown colour. Allow to cool before adding the filling.

5. To make the filling, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth then melt the white chocolate over a pan of simmering water and add to the cream cheese mixture, mixing thoroughly. Add the orange zest and chopped nuts and stir to incorporate evenly throughout the mix.

6. Whip the double cream until soft peaks form, then fold into the cream cheese mixture. Spoon the mixture into the baked pie crust, spreading it out evenly. Then cover with clingfilm and place in the freezer until frozen - about an hour.

7. To make the ganache topping, heat the cream over a gentle heat and then pour over the chopped dark chocolate. Continuously stir until all the chocolate has melted and the mixture has tuned smooth and glossy. Pour this over the frozen pie, spreading out evenly and place in the fridge for 20 minutes to set.

8. Finally, add the chopped macadamia nuts to serve!

So there we have it! A reallyy tasty pie, that looks impressive whilst not being tricky to make at all! It's not too sweet either making it all the more easier to eat another slice....;)

Review | Emma Hardie AM/PM Treatment Moisturiser

11 Apr 2014

All hail to the most decadent moisturiser to have ever graced my skincare stash. It's definitely one of the most high-end products I've ever splurged on but as I've found out, totally lives up to expectation. I spoke about this briefly last week in my Mini Space NK Haul but I thought it definitely deserved its own starring review.

The Emma Hardie AM/PM Treatment Moisturiser is part of the Amazing Face collection and promises to leave you with hydrated, supple and glowing skin. As it states, it can be used as a day and night cream but I generally only use it at night as I find it a bit too thick for the morning. Also, I'm just lazy and my Effaclar Duo+ doubles up as my morning moisturiser and primer - so I'd rather use that!

I've been using it every night (near enough!) for a month now and I've really noticed a difference! My skin feels really soft and I've noticed it looks a lot healthier too. Also, the few days in which I haven't used the moisturiser I've really noticed my skin feeling the loss! I'll get really bad dry patches that'll clear up as soon as I start using the moisturiser again. Brilliant news for the moisturiser, but perhaps not so much for my bank balance if I start to rely on it!

The actual consistency of the moisturiser feels soo luxurious, really creamy and thick. It does take a little longer to sink into my skin than other moisturisers I've used but not so long that it gets annoying. I only use two small fingertip amounts on each application, so I've hardly used any of the tub in the whole month! I'll definitely get the most out of my money.

Finally, my favourite aspect (other than the amazing effects!) is the gorgeous scent of the moisturiser!! Lavender, Geranium and Peppermint essential oils make up the scent and literally it smells sooo damn good. I am a real lover of peppermint anyway, it just feels so refreshing on the skin. Its definitely my favourite skincare smell!

All in all, this may be pricey but so far I am most definitely one happy camper and it's definitely going to stay apart of my everyday routine for a long while now. Have you tried any of the Emma Hardie range?

Spotlight On: Rimmel

8 Apr 2014

Back in February I started a little series where I put the spotlight on a particular brand. Its now April, and this is my second installment - oops! Lot's of other posts got in the way, but it's back now with the spotlight placed firmly on Rimmel. When I was deciding which three Rimmel products were my favourite I was surprised to realise that I didn't have a signal eyeshadow, blush or bronzer from the brand! Apparently, I favour their base and lip products, as can be seen above!

My first favourite is one that I've repurchased time and time again; the Stay Matte Powder in Translucent.

It keeps my makeup in check all day, literally and keeps me looking shine free! I do always fear looking shiny, so I love using this across my T-Zone to make sure everything stays in check. Its a really lightweight powder and doesn't give you a cakey look at all. It's definitely been a permanent fixture in my make-up bag for a longggg time now and I can't see it leaving anytime soon either!

The Wake Me Up Concealer in True Ivory has also been a firm favourite of mine for quite a while now. I'm pretty sure I'm on my third or fourth tube of the stuff now, and I won't be stopping any time soon! I find it so easy to apply, its really creamy and blends out really well. Its really high coverage and stays in place for a good 8 hours or more!

Finally, a lipstick! More specifically the Moisture Renew lipstick in In Love With Ginger. As the name would suggest this lipstick is packed full of moisture ensuring dry patchy lips are not an issue! The lipstick glides on really well and sits super comfortably on the lips. The shade is a really lovely orangey-red, perfect for Spring/Summer in my eyes and it'll look even better with a tan! It lasts for a good few hours, and leaves a nice stain on the lips.

So that's my top three Rimmel picks! What're your favourite Rimmel products?

Tickets and Playbills.

6 Apr 2014

From reading my blog I'm sure you're all quite aware that I have a profound love for Baking, but what you may not know is that my other love is reserved for the Theatre. So much so that my University Dissertation revolved around the works of Hammerstien and Sondheim - Sondheim being my favourite musical composer of all time.

I couldn't tell you what prompted me to first get into the Theatre, but my parents have always seen shows so they were probably a big influence. As a very sentimental person, I've kept every ticket of every single show I've ever been to, so I can tell you that the first show I saw was His Dark Materials at the National Theatre on the 3rd March 2004. 10 years ago! :O I'm onto my second Ticket Book now, which makes me feel like I have a slight obsession - but hey, everyone's got to have a hobby right! I also have a tradition that I must buy a Program at every show, which as you can see means I have a rather large stack of them now!

Being a Londoner, I obviously have a loyalty to the West End and really do think some of the best Theatre comes out of London. Namely; Billy Elliot, Matilda the Musical and War Horse to name a few.

But obviously, the American stage holds some of my very favourite musicals and I've been lucky enough to see three shows on Broadway! You can definitely see the difference between the West End and Broadway - mainly because of the amount of money spent! Broadway productions are HUGE, and I'm not just talking about the size of the theaters. Just look at The Book of Mormon which cost $11.4 million to make! Crazy money!! Luckily for us a lot of amazing Broadway productions have traveled across the pond, such as; Wicked, Avenue Q and the massive Book of Mormon.

This rambling post all spurned off my sense of elation last night after seeing Urinetown at the St.James Theatre with Craig. I'd bought him the tickets for his Birthday, as seeing shows is a shared passion of ours. The show was AMAZING and hilarious, I want to see it again already and it got me wanting to share my passion with you all.

Do any of you love the Theatre? I'd love to know what you've seen recently! Be it, on/off West End, a limited run or a touring production!

Next on my list to see is: Once, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Book of Mormon (if the tickets ever get any cheaper!) and Miss Saigon. Only a few then...

Lastly, here's a few recommendations! :)

Looking for a good cry? See Les Miserables
Looking for something really witty? See Urinetown. (Closing 3rd May! Run!)
Looking for powerhouse vocals? See Wicked
Looking for Off-West End? See Ushers. (Closing 19th April! Run!)
Looking to marvel at puppetry? See War Horse
Looking to jump out your seat? See The Woman In Black

Weekly Highlights. #18

5 Apr 2014

L-R: Beer for two at Union Jacks, FOTD, Lunchtime View, Super tasty food at Union Jacks, New York recipe book that I REALLY want, the Golden Hinde Ship, Cheesecake Brownies, Pretty work.
This week has been a really good one and I think the Sun being out in full force has definitely helped that! I started my new job, had a yummy meal with Craig and made Cheesecake Brownies. Winning if I do say so myself!

My three highlights are:

1. Mothers Day last Sunday was spent with my whole family having a yummy mezze style lunch at my sisters flat. Its always lovely when we get a chance to all spend time together, and Katie made a SUPER yummy Lemon Victoria Sponge too!

2. On Monday me and Craig went to Union Jacks in Covent Garden and had a super yummy late lunch. I was super HANGRY by the time we ate so I was glad that it was worth it! I went for the very traditional choice of Fish and Chips which were lovely buttt I had total menu choice envy because Craig's pizza was AMAZING. I want to go back purely to have it myself! We didn't have pudding, but I did see that you could have Earl Grey and Biscuits ice cream! Say whaa? I totally want to try that too.

3. Finally, I started my new job this week which was superr exciting!! What I also loved was working near the Thames means that I have some lovely lunchtime spots to choose from. It's been beautifully sunny all week, so it's been really nice to eat my lunch with a pretty view to boot.

What's been your favourite part of your week?

Tag | I ♥ Spring.

4 Apr 2014

To mark the DELIGHTFUL start to a sunny Spring I thought I'd kick things off with this little tag! Knowing me I'll have jinxed us all now and it'll rain all week. If I've begun this I'm sorry, I accept all charges! But for now, on-wards with the tag! :)

1. Favourite Spring nail polish?
Anything Mint Green or Sky Blue has my heart in Spring. Recently I've really been loving White nails though, I think they look so chic but subtle. I was thinking of getting something from Essie, any recommendations??

2. What is your must-have lip colour this spring?
I'm not entirely sure how spring-like this colour is but I've still been loving the orange-toned red of my Revlon Matte Balm in Striking. I think it looks so gorgeous in the sun and it'll look even better towards the end of spring with a tan! But, really anything orange toned because I think coral shades look great in Spring.

3. Show us your favourite Spring dress!
As this isn't a YouTube video this is slightly more tricky to do, but I think I'm going to point you to my Primark OOTD from last Summer where I wore the famed Red Flower dress from Primark. I know this OOTD is from Summer, but I love this dress SO much and now Spring has sprung its made its way back into my wardrobe. I think its just so pretty, and its a really light material making it perfect for Spring/Summer.

4. What's your favourite flower?
Spring is when my love for Daffodils comes back in full force. I bought a bunch last week and they made me happy every time I saw them - sad but true! I just think they're so cute, and they definitely create the buzz of excitement that Winter is finally over!

5. Favourite Spring Scarf/Accessory?
This has to be my Union Jack scarf from ASOS that I got a few years ago. Its really lightweight and made from a super soft material. It's also really big though so it still feels like you have something that'll actually keep you warm. Also, because the colours are slightly faded it gives a slight vintagey feel which I love.

6. What Spring trend(s) are you most excited about this year? (Makeup, fashion or both)
I think this is definitely the pastel shades littering the high-street. I've seen mint green and pastel pink leather jackets which just look uh-mazing. Also, I'm a massive fan of the midi skirt and these seem to be back in full force this season, so yay!

7. Favourite Spring candle?
I honestly don't light enough candles to be able to give an answer to this question! I do however REALLY want a Diptyque candle because I was smelling some the other day and they smelt sooo good. Really fresh and springy - but obviously I didn't take note of what the candles I liked were called because I'm super smart!Any recommendations??

8. Favourite body spray/perfume for Spring?
This is tricky! I have two, but one is probably cheating slightly. My signature scent if you will is Chloé's L'eau de Chloé. It smells so fresh and crisp - perfect for Spring! I do however where this all year round, so realistically I'd say my favourite for Spring in particular is Marc Jacob's Daisy Eau de Toilette. I love how floral this smells, whilst still remaining fresh and light. It's not musky at all, just perfect for a Spring day!

9. What is Spring like where you live?
As I live in England, I won't lie its not exactly super warm and April showers are rife. But, I do think Spring in England is so so lovely. The trees full of blossom, daffodils around and obviously countless Mini Eggs to consume - what could be better?! Spring is definitely one of my favourite times of the year, especially as it just builds my excitement for Summer!

10. What's your favourite thing about Spring?
Oops! I feel like I kind of answered this in the question above, but it's probably this little scene: a Sunday afternoon, windows open throughout the house with a light breeze flowing through, sun streaming in and a day of pottering around the house ahead. That kind of a Spring day is my favourite.

11. Are you a Spring cleaner?
I definitely get swept up in the buzz of Spring cleaning and taking the time to de-clutter aspects of my life - not always physical aspects too. Buttt, I wouldn't say I always manage to follow through and complete all my plans. Its a bit like New Years for me in a way!

12. Any plans for Spring break or an upcoming vacation?
Obviously, as I'm not American we don't really have 'Spring break' in the same way that you do across the pond, so I wish I could say yes! But sadly I don't have anything planned. It's my Birthday on Easter Weekend though which will be fun :)

So there we have it! I hope you liked my I ♥ Spring tag! What do you most like about the season?

Mini Space NK Haul.

1 Apr 2014

This may come as a surprise to many of you, but until a few weeks ago I'd never bought anything in Space NK. I know its craziness! But a few weeks ago I finally took the plunge and splurged a little. I have to say Space NK have the best customer service ever. The lady who helped me was so lovely, we had such a nice chat and she picked out some awesome samples for me!

I actually went in there to look for a new moisturiser and as soon as I smelt the Emma Hardie AM/PM Treatment Moisturiser I was sold. I'd never even read any reviews on it beforehand, but I knew I had to have it. It comes in the same cute pot just like the Moringa Cleansing Balm which looks really lovely on my dressing table. I've only been using the cream for about a fortnight but it feels really luxurious on my skin and sinks in really well. It smells gorgeously of Lavender, Geranium and Peppermint and can be used day and night. So far, I love it! I'll have a full review soon though.

The second product I picked up was a bit of an impulse buy that I was drawn to by the tills. I've read countless reviews of the Caudalie Beauty Elixir and always wondered if it was really something I needed. But when I neared the tills I saw a travel sized version and with my blogger head on I justified that it was a good way of trying it! It is SO refreshing and a lovely scent, but I'm still not sure whether its exaclty a necessity! Again, full review to come!

I always think its a really lovely touch when you're given samples, and the lady who chose mine was really lovely. She asked me what products I was currently using so she could gauge what samples would be best which I thought was really nice. I got two samples of the Cane + Austin ReTexturising Treatment Pads which are meant to exfoliate and re-texture the skin. I've never used anything from Cane + Austin so I'm excited to try them! She also gave me two Intense Hydration Serum samples from Eve Lom, which I was really excited about! Finally, I also got two Radiance Life Foundation samples from Eve Lom's new makeup range in Ivory 2 which I can't wait to try!

I hope you liked this little 'haul' anyway! Let me know if you've tried the moisturiser or beauty elixir before!
