FOTD to FOTN.

Today I thought I'd share with you a FOTD to FOTN look that I've been loving lately. It once again features my favourite lip product of the moment and an old favourite in terms of eyeshadow!

Like nearly all FOTD or FOTN posts I've written I'm once again using my trusty Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in 52. I really do love this foundation, it suits my skin so well. So well in fact that I'm quite scared to try anything new! I also used the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer - another trusty companion to my foundation and the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent. These products create such a good base for me and one that lasts all day!

For eyes I used Frosted Ginger from my NARS eyeshadow duo in Isolde. I used to wear this duo literally allll the time, but to be honest I kinda forgot about it! I love how it looks in the inner corners of my eye though, so I'm definitely going to start digging it out more! I washed this across the lid, and then added definition in the outer corners and along the crease with the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Permanent Taupe. I then added my favourite eyeliner the Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner Pen to create a cat flick, and added the Maybelline Mega Plush Volum' Express Mascara to my lashes. Still my favourite mascara to date!

For my cheeks I used my Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Tipsy and the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle to highlight. I absolutely love this combination, it looks so pretty for spring! The Tarte blush is absolutely one of my favourites too, and really does stay on your cheeks all day!

Finally, to take this look into the night I added my Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in Striking. I won't go into my love for this again, but if you're thinking of trying it? DO!

FOTN: An Engagement Party

Last Saturday I went along to my oldest friend Emma's engagement party. It was the first engagement party I'd ever been to - am I really at that age now?! Scary! It was really lovely to celebrate with her though, especially as it was so apparent how happy she is. Make-up wise I went for quite a strong eyeliner look. I'm fallen back in love with the cat-flick at the moment!

FOTN: Dinner With Old Friends.

I've had these pictures sitting on my hardrive for about a month or more now, and FINALLY got around to writing up the blog post! Pro blogger, clearly. I decided to focus on my eyes and go for a slight smokey eye for this look, whilst leaving the rest of my face quite neutral. I was off to have dinner with my old girl friends from college, we don't often all meet up together so it was really nice to catch up on everyone's lives. We went to Chiquito's where I had the most amazing guacamole! I was seriously impressed. The service was appalling though, it took us about 2 hours just to get our mains! A few Mojito's to get us through the wait didn't go amiss though! ;)

Another FOTN of the night for you today. A subtle eye look as I was focusing on my lips. I really am loving wearing a bright lip at the moment rather than big eyes. I was never really into lip products until a few months ago and now I can't stop wanting more! Especially now its in the midst of Autumn, red lips are definitely becoming a staple for me.

FOTN | Cocktail Night with the Girls

Me and my best girlfriends decided to have a cocktail night this week and I thought I'd share my make-up from the night :) This is loosely based on Tanya Burr's tutorial here, but I slightly changed it to fit me better :) We made amazingg cocktails like Frozen Lemon Daiquiris, Tropical Concoctions and Banana Daiquiris with real bananas - too yummy!!

FOTN | Girl's Evening

Last night I went out for dinner and drinks with two of my best friends, we haven't had a chance to go out just us girls in a while so I was really excited for a good catch up :) I thought I'd share with you my make-up look for the evening! Most of my make-up I'd put on in the morning before work, but I touched up when I got home and made it a bit more evening appropriate.

I really enjoyed wearing this look -  it feels quite casual but the lipstick gives it a little bit of impact. We had such a good night, sometimes all you need is your best girls around you. :) I hope you're all enjoying the lovely weather in the UK at the moment!
